Low-point BLT

This is one of those recipes that only works with specific products, but it works, so I do it.

  • Oroweat sandwich flats (1 pt for one, 3pts for two)
  • Turkey bacon (1pt per slice)
  • Fat-free mayo (0pts for <1Tbsp)
  • Tomato slices (0pts)
  • Lettuce– the darker the color, the denser the nutrients (0pts)

Cook the turkey bacon and break slices in half.

Spread the bread with Mayonnaise and cover with bacon. Add tomato and Lettuce (the more you can fit, the higher your veggie-count for the day) and close with the other half of your sandwich flat.

One costs 3pts, two are 7pts– and very filling.
